Below the surface
Scuba diving
We help you line up dives with local operators. Certified divers who bring their own gear can ask about our free tanks.
The short version
San Andrés sits inside the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve, and Colombia’s tourism board counts nearly forty dive spots around it. We’re not a dive shop and we won’t pretend to be one. What we do is help you find an operator that fits your level and budget, and point you away from the ‘dive with me, bro’ offers on the beach. If you’re already certified and travel with your own kit, we also have tanks for guests — on request, with limits.

Blue Almond + third parties
Our listing says diving can be booked at the hostel — in practice, we help you coordinate with third-party dive operators. We also publish free scuba tanks for certified guests who bring their own diving equipment, on request and with limits. Staff confirm availability and conditions case by case.
Included
- Free scuba tanks for certified divers who bring their own equipment, on request; limits apply.
How it works
Step by step
Tell us your certification level, when you last dived and what you want to see.
We suggest options and help you contact a certified operator; you book and pay the operator directly.
Certified divers with their own equipment can ask staff whether a tank is available and what the conditions are.
Before you go
Pack it, check it, respect it.
Pack list
- Bring your certification card and logbook.
- If you haven’t dived for a while, plan a refresher with the operator.
- Check that your travel insurance covers diving.
- Leave a gap before your flight home — your operator will tell you how long.
Field guide · requirements
- Tanks: only for certified divers with their own equipment, and only after staff confirm.
- Uncertified guests can’t use our tanks — learn with a certified operator instead.
- Dive with an instructor or divemaster holding an internationally recognised certification.
About the price
Dive prices are set by the operator and change with the season — ask us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
