The short version
A bike is the cheapest way to own the island for a day, and the easiest way to stop wherever you like. It’s also hot, so be realistic: start early, carry water and don’t try to be a hero at noon. We rent bikes to guests — ask on the day.

- Plan your route around the heat of the day.
- A lock if you plan to leave the bike at a beach.
Field guide · requirements
- Ride on the right, follow traffic signals and never ride on pavements, as Colombian traffic law requires.
- At night, bikes need a white front light and a red rear reflector, and riders need reflective clothing.
